This series was about a somewhat grumpy and uptight banker, Cosmo Topper, and the ghosts which only he could see or hear, George and Marion Kerby. The Kerbys would often try to get Cosmo to loosen up and enjoy life.
Cosmo and Henrietta celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary by spending the night at their honeymoon hotel. Trouble is, it now seems to be haunted, and not by George and Marion.
When the ghosts rearrange a window display and the result draws a crowd, the store owner credits Henrietta with having done it; but he is only flattering her in order to sell her some furniture.
Trip To Lisbon
Topper goes on an ordinary business trip, but because of the language used, the ghosts misinterpret it as some sort of high-level espionage mission.
Angry with George because he hasn't noticed her new hat, Marion Kerby suddenly declares that they are no longer married.
Henrietta Sells The House
Henrietta decides to sell the house. This does not sit well with ghosts Marion and George.
George and Marian's grandfather Augustus Kerby dies, leaving them a million dollars. However, since they're already dead, that could pose some legal problems.
Topper Goes To Las Vegas
Topper is sent to Las Vegas on bank business; George and Marion insist on coming along and helping him win. This gets him in hot water with the management.
Topper Goes West
Topper's boss sends him to New Mexico to check on a ranch. Cosmo, with the Kerby's help, becomes a sharpshooter and puts a villainous cowboy in his place.
The Kerbys play a joke on Cosmo by making him believe he's won $800,000 playing the Irish Sweepstakes.
Henrietta's know-it-all, sportsman cousin comes to visit. The Kerby's talk Topper into suggesting a camping trip during which they assist Topper in making cousin Willie look foolish.
George's Old Flame
Topper tries to help his god-daughter Ellen get her aunt's permission to marry a movie star. The problem is, Ellen and George were once madly in love.
